Italian grand tour
Italian Grand Tour is an exhibition of Italian contemporary art presented at The Agency Gallery in Boorloo/Perth (WA) by the art consultancy company Arte Arechi. Running from 26 October to 11 November 2024, the show was presented as part of the 2024 edition of Giornata del Contemporaneo, a project designed to promote international accessibility to Italian contemporary art. Organised by AMACI – Associazione dei Musei d’Arte Contemporanea Italiani (Italian Contemporary Art Museums Association) in collaboration with the Italian Ministry for Culture, the 2024 edition of Giornata del Contemporaneo took place in October. Alongside the great art capitals – Paris, Sydney, London, Berlin, New York etc. – over 100 countries around the world opened their museums, cultural institutions, foundations and galleries to celebrate Italian contemporary art.
I directed the whole communications strategy behind Italian Grand Tour, working closely with Raffaele Tranzillo, curator and founder of Arte Arechi. Specifically, I designed the exhibition flyer, wrote the exhibition text (read it here) and the EDM invitation to the opening, set up an event page on Eventbrite and designed the exhibition catalogue.
